New students may begin lessons during the week of August 31.
Enrollment Includes
Welcome & Meeting
The first lesson includes a brief 15-minute meeting to discuss goals, learning style, and practice expectations for the year, followed by a shortened piano lesson.
Group Enrichment Classes
Interactive group classes throughout the year explore performance skills, music history, theory, and more.
Make-Up Lessons
Guaranteed make-up lesson dates are offered throughout the year so students can stay on track even when a lesson is missed.
Weekly Piano Lessons
Personalized weekly private lessons combined with quarterly group lessons designed to help students grow in skill, confidence, and musical understanding.
Year-Round Recitals
Students perform in 3–4 formal recitals each year and celebrate their progress with family and friends.
Parent Guidance for Practice
Students receive clear weekly practice goals and guided support to help them build consistent, successful practice habits at home.
Fun Learning Environment
Lessons are upbeat and creative, using games, rhythm activities, and familiar songs to make piano fun from day one. Each lesson is tailored to the student.
Awards & Certificates
Students can earn certificates and awards each year recognizing practice, growth, achievement, years of study, and more.
Studio Community Events
Fun studio-wide events give students and families opportunities to build friendships and community.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do students need prior piano or musical experience?
No prior piano or musical experience is required. I specialize in teaching beginners and enjoy helping students build a strong musical foundation from their very first lesson.
Do you offer a trial before enrolling?
Yes! The Intro Program is a four-week trial designed to help families experience lessons, meet the teacher, and determine whether Sunrise Prelude Piano Studios is the right fit before committing to the Academic Year Program. Does my child need a piano?
Yes. Students should have access to either an acoustic piano or a full-size (88-key) digital piano with weighted keys for home practice. If you're unsure what to purchase, I'd be happy to provide recommendations that fit your budget.

Next Available Start Week: August 31, 2026
Students are welcome to begin lessons before August 31. An additional prorated tuition payment will apply for lessons beginning before the next available start week.
Each student will receive weekly lessons scheduled throughout the academic year, taking into account holidays and breaks.
A studio calendar outlining breaks, holidays, and important dates will be provided to all students and families.
