Piano Intro Program
Enrollment Includes
Welcome & Meeting
The first lesson includes a brief 15-minute meeting to discuss goals, learning style, and practice expectations, followed by a shortened introductory piano lesson.
Quick Progress Plan
Students receive a mini progress sheet, and families receive a final progress summary with next-step recommendations after the 4th lesson.
4 Weekly Piano Lessons
A short, goal-focused introduction to piano lessons where students explore the keyboard, learn simple songs, and begin building confidence at the piano.
Fun Learning Environment
Lessons are upbeat and creative, using games, rhythm activities, and familiar songs to make piano fun from day one. Each lesson is tailored to the student.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do students need prior piano or musical experience?
No prior piano or musical experience is required. I specialize in teaching beginners and enjoy helping students build a strong musical foundation from their very first lesson.
Who is the Intro Program for?
The Intro Program is designed for brand-new students who have never previously taken lessons at Sunrise Prelude Piano Studios and would like to experience lessons before committing to the full Academic Year Program. This four-week program allows families to see if the studio, teaching style, and lesson structure are the right fit before making a full-year commitment.
Does my child need a piano?
Yes. Students should have access to either an acoustic piano or a full-size (88-key) digital piano with weighted keys for home practice. If you're unsure what to purchase, I'd be happy to provide recommendations that fit your budget.
What if we still have questions?
Please review the Private Lesson Policy first (located in the menu above), as it answers many common questions regarding enrollment, tuition, scheduling, attendance, and studio expectations. If you still have additional questions, I'd be happy to help!
